Our first stop on our way to RMNP, of course, was Smokin' Dave's! Rob and I split a Man-handler! 1/2 lb. burger, with cheddar cheese, bacon and piled high with pulled pork! So yummy!!!
Then it was off to the park! We decided to hike up to Bierstadt Lake....straight up!
Here we go!
We made it up to the lake!
Finally...
On our way back down- Little D fell asleep! So tired!
Wish someone would have carried me on their back while I took a nap!
About half way down! Among the Aspen Trees!
Of course, we saw an Elk!

Oh, man...so beautiful...the mountains in the fall, nothing like it (the real mountains). And he looks so happy to get outdoors!
