This is how D reacted when we told him that we were going to take a three day long road trip across the country! He fell asleep in disgust!
First stop- Kansas City, Missouri... so of course we had to get Barbeque! We ordered the Sunday Rib Pack!
Full slab of ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, and a bag of pickles! - all for $23, whoohoo!
Second stop- Lexington, Kentucky!
We ate dinner at a Drive-in featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives!
We had the famous Lex Burger and a Chili dog!
Yummy!
D's first hotel stay!! He was excellent!
